03/11- reuploaded a story of my first 10k run that i shared on instagram
- found a finished post about my preparations back then, that i never published…
i enjoy the new change of direction on this blog. removing the grid layout where posts looked like curated, polished pieces, also removed my expectations about what and how to write. i like being closer to my website and redefining the relationship.
- added two new posts: introducing germany diaries and everything is an ad nowadays
- introduced some structural changes to the website

it’s been a while… i was quite immersed in a project i’m happy to share bit by bit:
- added page for root-seeking journey and updated with existing blog posts
i’m still figuring out how to deviate from blog templates without it taking me ages to code. also got into some tailwind styling conflicts within the mdx file (prose vs. not-prose) - added first part of the story: departure (was my first time designing a complete post on figma beforehand)
- fixed flexlayout issue: images were not stacking in w-full on mobile (w1/2 -> md:w1/2)
- added card component with marker titles
- added responsive glassmorphic header with fade in/outs! burger menu for mobile version. took me 2h in total, styling and responsiveness took the most time. link colors not 100% correct yet.
edit 24.09.25: writing about the process, editing and uploading with gifs/pics took another 5.5h. will think twice about writing tech posts in the future😂
