Bold & Courageous - Do One Uncomfortable Thing Every Day for 14 Days

Bold & Courageous - Do One Uncomfortable Thing Every Day for 14 Days

We can talk, set intentions & journal all day long.
But there are times when it’s needed to take consistent simple action.

2026 is going to be an action-driven, transformative year. With the beginning of the Fire Horse year and six planets moving into Aries - the sign of the bold, ambitious pioneer - by April, you have all the support from the celestial world to be bold & courageous.

It’s ACTION time.

No matter when you’re reading this or whether you believe in astrology - you can simply start today!

Set the Rules

1. How Many Days do You Want to Challenge Yourself?

Choose a realistic number of days you can stick to.

7 days? Great!
14 days with an option to prolong to 30? Go for it!
365 days, because you’re tired of the same old excuses? Yesss, baby!

2. Be Creative in Choosing your Discomfort.

It can be something as outward-facing as

  • signing up for a presentation
  • speaking first in front of a group of people
  • giving a stranger a compliment.

It can also be as gentle as

  • looking yourself in the mirror and saying I love you
  • turning off your phone at 8pm
  • dancing in the middle of an empty grocery store, because you like the music.

Remember: it’s all between you and you.
Everyone defines discomfort differently.
It doesn’t have to be something heroic and big.

If you’re used to leadership, then the (potential) unease you feel before speaking in front of people is something known to you.
Maybe your challenge that day lies in creating a small intimate moment with a loved one.

If you’re journaling every day and enjoy living a hermit life lately, you may want to sign up for that group activity that you’ve been thinking about for too long.

If you’re comfortable in throwing yourself into the unpredictibility of your work life, then maybe meditating for 30 mins before bed is a challenge for you.

It can be tied to a project or a goal you’re working towards.
It can also come as a spontaneous insight that you’d normally ignore.

Be honest about what living outside of your comfort zone means to you every day.

3. Write it Down

Choose your preferred method of documentation: journal, notes app, or maybe a voice memo to a friend. Keep a list somewhere, so that you can come back to in the future, draw inspiration from your past self and celebrate the moments.

Intention: Curiosity & Play

This is not solely about self-improvement or measurable growth.
Nor solely about ‘doing things before you’re ready’ and blasting your nervous system with more noise.

It’s about getting curious about discovering parts of yourself that you may have been hiding in your day to day - out of fear, shame or guilt.
It’s about listening to the whispers of your desires and finding out what happens when you follow them - no matter how big or small they seem.
It’s about giving the everyday life an unexpected spark.

Treat it like a playful experiment:

  • How does it feel when I speak up?
  • How does it feel when I slow down?
  • How does it feel when I choose to change my costume, to act out of character, today - even for a brief moment?

I’d be curious to hear how it goes for you!
Feel free to share your experience with me whenever you’d like :)
