reiki, cacao, ecstatic dance

Started the day with giving four-hand Reiki with my friend A.

Two years ago, he introduced me to four-hand Reiki, which is literally two Reiki practitioners (four hands) working simultaneously to one client. We offered sessions every Sunday at Estalagem and I’m forever grateful for the practical experience I gained there.

I haven’t practised Reiki in a while, and getting into the space again was easier than expected. We caught up on our lives after the session with a coffee at the sun-bathed terrace and decided to head down the hill to spend some time coworking at Estalagem.

Later that day, the hotel outdoor space transformed into an ecstatic dance area where we jumped barefoot in the grass to soul music, celebrating Winter Solstice with Mama Cacao, with each other and the sunset. At the end of the event, I found myself in a blissful cuddle with L & F - a sweet reminder of my cacao ceremony at the beginning of the month, where I went alone.
