our local wisdom keepers

our local wisdom keepers

i took a walk in the forest today.
contemplated how mind-driven, knowledge-seeking our species is.

unsatiated drive for more, more, more.

we’re all aware, but we don’t care.
let’s take actions, instead of reflections?

wisdom
is
dropping into the eternal truth
of what already IS.

there is no more.

forests are wisdom holders.
our elders.

they know.

they know the secrets to humankind’s big questions.

they see.

they see beyond the veils
and are connected to everything.

they remember.

they have never forgotten.

there are no veils.
no walls that keep us separate.

you from me.
us from a tree.

a walk in the forest is an immersion in their field.
soaking in the frequencies of wisdom.

and maybe if you slow d. o. w. n.
you’ll hear the message.

revealing piece by piece
the timeless nature of our existence.

there’s nothing to grasp.
nothing to understand.

simply being.
